Rooted in Legacy, Grown with Love

Welcome to Krushipandhari Agritourism & Farmstay, a serene retreat in the heart of Konkan, where every inch of land tells a story of resilience, passion, and purpose.

Our Story

Over 40 years ago, what is now a flourishing 100-acre green sanctuary was once a wild, uncultivated forest. It was the vision and sheer determination of Krushibhushan Dr. Tanajirao Chorage and Smt.

Anjali Chorage that transformed this rugged land into a model of sustainable farming. With minimal resources but infinite resolve, they toiled day and night—clearing forest patches, building irrigation systems, planting fruit-bearing trees, and developing a farm that would not only feed people but also inspire generations to come.

Dr. Tanajirao Chorage, a respected name in Konkan’s agricultural and educational landscape, is the founder of the Dr. Tanajirao Chorage Education and Research Institute, which operates several schools and colleges, including a B.Sc. Agriculture College. By his side, Smt. Anjali Chorage has been a nurturing force—managing the farm, raising a family, and empowering local education efforts with unwavering support and wisdom.
Founder

Dr. Nikhil Chorage & Dr. Shamika Chorage

Today, this legacy is carried forward by the next generation of agri-entrepreneurs—Dr. Nikhil Chorage and Dr. Shamika Chorage. With a strong foundation in agricultural science and a shared dream of sustainable living, they founded Krushipandhari Agritourism & Farmstay to open the gates of their ancestral land to the world.
Their mission? To bridge the gap between urban lives and rural roots—offering immersive, interactive, and educational experiences that reconnect people with nature and farming. Whether it’s through hands-on farming, nature walks, or cultural workshops, every guest leaves Krushipandhari with more than just memories—they leave with a new perspective.
